BACHELOR’S IN BIOLOGY
The Bachelor’s in Biology degree at Geneva College is the basis of a wide range of career roles as well as more advanced education in many areas of study. Fundamental concepts and applications of biology are delivered in conjunction with a Christian perspective on the natural world.
The concentrations offered under the umbrella area of Biology are:
- Cell and Molecular Biology – a research intensive program geared toward students pursuing graduate school or a career in medical research
- Environmental Biology – a program that establishes a comprehensive foundation in the major areas of ecology and environmental biology
- Human Biology – a program that emphasizes human biology, particularly physiologically, as a platform for understanding disease in humans. This program is ideal preparation for medical school or graduate programs in physical therapy or a student wishing to become a physician’s assistant
